Today
Here's your plan for today.
How are you doing?
Pick the closest one. There is no wrong answer, and you do not have to explain anything before getting help. "Not sure" is always here.
A body check-in time has passed. You can do one whenever you are ready — or not at all.
Recovery mode
Avoidable demands are set aside while you recover. They are not deleted — they are waiting, and waiting is fine.
Focus on the basics:
Show the things set aside while I recover
Your plan
Nothing is planned for today yet.
Add one thing, build today with me, or choose something from your Planner.
Or start with one small thing
Energy today
Your energy can change during the day. This app never expects the same level from you every day.
Energy today:
Energy state:
Your day isn't ruined. Let's make the rest of it work.
Planner
This is where you decide. Today is where you do. Repair is where you adjust.
Quick add
Only the name is needed. Everything else can be changed later, or left as it is.
Build today with me
What must happen?
Only the things that truly have to happen on this day. You can add more later — or not at all.
Is there an appointment, or somewhere you need to be?
Pick a part of the day for each one — no exact time is needed.
What basic needs belong in this day?
Tap any that apply. Only what you tap goes into the plan — nothing is added for you.
What would you enjoy?
Enjoyable things are part of the plan, not a reward for finishing everything else.
How much energy do you have?
Your best sense of it is enough. You can also skip this — the plan does not depend on it.
Here is the plan from your answers
Nothing here is fixed. You can change any of it later.
Your answers added nothing — and an empty plan is a real plan too. You can go back and add something, or put this day in as it is.
Plan tomorrow
These are waiting for tomorrow — not lost, and not obligations yet. You can change any of them tomorrow, too.
Nothing planned for tomorrow yet.
Saved routines
A saved starting point for a day — like a work day, an appointment day, or a low-energy day. Applying one shows you the list first.
Use this routine
A routine is a starting point, not homework. Take what fits.
Save today as a routine
Make a routine
Moved from yesterday
These were moved out of an earlier day. They are not in today's plan, and they are not obligations. For each one, you choose — including choosing later.
Nothing is waiting. Anything you move out of a day will wait here for your decision.
Unscheduled things
Things with no day yet. They are not late, because no day was ever chosen for them. Put one in a day whenever it fits.
Nothing unscheduled right now.
Repair my day
Your day isn't ruined. We will go in this order: how you are feeling, what might help first, then — only when you are ready — the plan. The problem step is optional. You can stop at any point.
Step 1 — How is your day feeling?
Something hurts.
Do you need urgent help, or do you want to adjust your day?
If this is an emergency, call 911.
Step 2 — What might help first?
These come from your own Repair Kit first. Options marked "standard" are gentle defaults — this app does not assume anything else helps you.
Do that now. Take as long as you need. There is no timer and nothing here will rush you.
Step 3 — What made the day harder? (optional)
You can repair the day without explaining what caused the problem. Explaining is never the price of help.
Step 4 — Repair the plan
Here is what changed

What you can choose
Your choices for the rest of today
Protected items are something enjoyable to keep — they are never offered for skipping. For everything else, you choose: must happen today, make it easier, shorten it, do it with help, move it to another day, or skip it. Nothing happens until you tap Apply.
Or: Smallest good version of today
Keep only your protected items plus the essentials you tick. Everything else moves to tomorrow — not deleted, just not today. On a low-energy day, the small version is a good day. Needing it is normal, not a step back.
Here is your new day
One next step
When you are ready, pick one thing and see only its first step.
Continue, or finish safely
What helped? (optional)
One tap. This is saved only on this device, in your Patterns, so you can see what tends to help you. It is only for you.

Start
Starting is often the hardest part. Pick one thing. You will see only one step at a time.
Steps
Small steps. You can write them, change them, or use the first step you already saved. One per line.

Your step will appear here.

Being stuck is information, not a problem with you. Pick what would help:
No timer running
Help me communicate
Communication does not depend on speech. Tap a phrase to show it in large text. You can read it aloud, copy it, or send it — only when you tap.
Your board, your words: the phrases below are yours to keep, pin, and edit — nothing here is fixed by anyone else.
Your own phrases
More communication tools
Phrase
Nothing is shared until you press send. Nothing is shared automatically, ever.
I need help from someone
This page writes the message for you. You choose who it goes to and what it says. Nothing is shared until you press send. Nothing is shared automatically, ever. This app has no live connection to anyone and never will without you choosing it, message by message.
My Toolkit — my Repair Kit
This is yours. When a repair begins, the app uses your kit instead of generic advice. Fill in as much or as little as you want, whenever you want. One thing per line for the lists.
Fill in any part, in any order. Everything saves as you go — you can stop and come back.
Safe people
People you may choose to send a message to. Adding someone here shares nothing with them — it just makes sending quicker when you decide to.
Situation guides
Step-by-step words for common situations live with the scripts — including your communication card.
Patterns
Private to you unless you choose to share.
This page is private. It exists only on this device, and it is here to help you notice what helps you — things like "eating before appointments seems to help" or "loud places often lead to repairs". It holds plain counts from your own repair reflections. Nothing here is a judgement of you, and nothing about you as a person is measured.
Your repair log
No repairs logged yet. When you finish a repair and answer "What helped?", it will appear here.
Scripts
Words ready before you need them. Pick a script, fill in the blanks, and read it as it is — on the call, or copied into a message. Using a script is a normal, valid way to communicate.
Your communication card
Fill this in once. Show it, or copy it, whenever explaining is too much. Communication in writing, by card, or by any other way counts in full.

Body check-in
Concrete questions, one at a time, one tap each. There are no right answers — an answer is information, never good or bad.
Press start when you are ready.
Today's check-ins
No check-ins logged today yet.
Check-in times
Off by default. If you turn this on, the app will gently note on the Today screen when a time has passed. The app cannot send notifications while it is closed — open it and the note will be there.
Get a device
This app is free to use on a phone or tablet you already have, and it works on older, cheaper devices. If cost is the barrier, these are the real routes that exist. Nothing here is promised — each program has its own rules — but these are the honest starting points.
FCC Lifeline — money off phone or internet service
Lifeline takes up to $9.25 a month off your phone or internet bill ($34.25 a month on Tribal lands). You may qualify if your income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines, or if you receive SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, federal public housing assistance, or a Veterans Pension.
One honest point: the government does not pay for the phone itself. When a company offers a "free phone" with Lifeline, that phone is the company's own promotion. Apply through the National Verifier at lifeline.usac.org, then choose a Lifeline provider in your state.
PCs for People — low-cost computers
A nonprofit that refurbishes computers for people on low incomes. Computers at low cost, and internet from $15 a month. Check eligibility and stock at pcsforpeople.org.
human-I-T — refurbished laptops, with a warranty
Another nonprofit refurbisher. Refurbished laptops from $139, internet from $14.99 a month, and devices come with a 1-year warranty and tech support. See human-i-t.org.
Pennsylvania: TechOWL Free Special Phone Program
If you live in Pennsylvania, TechOWL (Temple University) runs the state's assistive technology programs, including a Free Special Phone Program for Pennsylvanians whose disability makes a standard phone hard to use, and free short-term device loans. Start at techowlpa.org.
Try a device free first — state loan libraries
Every US state has an assistive technology program that lends devices free for a few weeks, so you can try before anyone pays for anything. Find yours via the AT3 Center at at3center.net (State AT Programs).
A warning about "free tablet" offers
The old federal ACP program, which some "free tablet" offers were built on, ended on June 1, 2024. A website still offering a free tablet through ACP in 2026 is out of date — be careful with it, and never pay a fee or hand over bank details for a "free government tablet."
Settings
Each part opens on its own screen. Change one thing at a time — nothing here is urgent.
Your Repair Kit and calm plan live in My Toolkit — your exit words, safe places, safe people, and what helps you regulate are all in one place, and the deep green "Calm now" button reads from it.
About you
Low cost = 1, Medium = 2, High = 3. This is your number, set by you. Going over it is information, never a failure.
Words and pictures — how the app talks to you
This is the choice from setting up the app. It uses this app's own simple pictures — never a licensed symbol set. Change it any time.
This choice takes effect as soon as you tap it — there is nothing to save.
Display and senses
How the app shows things — display mode
These are display preferences only. They say nothing about you — pick whichever is easiest to use today, and change it any time.
Sensory settings
The choices on this screen also take effect as soon as you change them — there is nothing to save.
Your data
Everything you put in this app is stored only on this device. No account, no server, no one else can see it. Billing is not set yet — there is nothing to pay and nothing charged.
Saves a copy of everything in this app as a file.
Bring back a copy you saved before.
Erase everything. This deletes all of your items, kit, scripts, card, check-ins, phrases, and repair log from this device. It cannot be undone.
Set up the app
You can walk through the short set-up again — how the app talks to you, what helps you reset, and what it calls you. Nothing you have saved is removed by doing it again.
About this app
From Here holds your day and helps you repair it when it changes. It is built with one aim: to help you communicate, feel safe, take part, build skills, make choices, and enjoy your life — as yourself.
What it is not: it is not medical treatment, and it does not diagnose anything. It is not ABA or behavior therapy. It never judges you, and there is no dashboard — no parent, employer, coach, or anyone else can see your data. Support here is send-only: nothing leaves this device unless you write a message and press send yourself. Needing more help on a low-energy day is normal. It is not a step backwards, and this app will never call it one.
